A Community Playground for the Town of Getashen

The town of Getashen is in the Armavir province, 20 km away from Yerevan. The population in this town is 3047 with 839 households.
The main source of income is farming. There is one school (K-12) with 269 students. There is one kindergarten with 100 kindergartners. Getashen is bordering with Turkey. There is no safe place for children to play while their parents are working on the farms.
This town has a very beautiful park which is dedicated to soldiers. The town’s request is to have a bigger playground for all the children in town.
With the grand opening of this park, we’ve created a place for the community to get together, both young and old.
