Khachpar (Armenian: Խաչփառ) is located in the Ararat Province, 7KM from Yerevan.
Khachpar has an estimated 2100 residents living in 365 households. The economy of the town is predominantly based on agriculture and farming.
209 students attend the village’s sole school (1-12 grade), and the kindergarten was a second home to 30 children.
The request for 20 more beds was submitted to FCN in 2022. Now, 20 additional students can attend kindergarten in Khachpar. A playground has also been installed so that the children can play in a safe environment outdoors.
