A Playground for Gyumri’s Ghaplanyan St. Community

Gyumri is a relatively large city located in the Shirak province of Armenia. With 148,381 people currently residing in Gyumri, it is considered as the second largest city in Armenia. The city is known for having multistory apartment buildings in circular community style layouts around various streets. The center of each block of apartment buildings usually contains an open yard, giving access to each respective apartment community. In 2018, FCN build a community playground in the center yard of the Ghaplanyan Street  apartments. There are 600 families living in this particular building block, and this playground allows for hundreds of children from all age ranges to enjoy playtime outdoors on a fun and safe structure.
