Norapat (Նորապատ) village is located 52km from Yerevan, in the Armavir region of Armenia.
Home to 2,384 residents with 450 households, the villagers’ main source of income is agriculture and livestock. The village has one school (1-12 grade) with 130 students. There is one kindergarten, which acts as a second home to 90 children. Although the kindergarten was recently renovated with new and safe furnishings, it was lacking a safe playground for the children to play, be active, and grow up healthy. As most, if not all, would agree, children absolutely need to have the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild — one of the best ways to do that is while playing on a playground. In 2019, FCN installed a playground so that 90 children may have experiences like these while exercising their growing bodies.
