Griboyedov (Armenian: Գրիբոյեդով) town is located in the Armavir Province, The town is named in honor of Russian writer and diplomat Alexandr Griboyedov.
Located 30 KM from Yerevan, Griboyedov has an estimated 2042 residents living in 388 households. The economy of the town is predominantly based on agriculture and farming.
325 students attend the village’s sole school (1-12 grade), and the kindergarten is a second home to 60 children. Although the kindergarten is in good condition, they were lacking a play area with safe equipment for the children to play & be active outdoors. The community requested a new playground from FCN, which we were happy to install in 2021. Now, the kindergartners of Griboyedov can play safely and enjoy their days outdoors.
