Kaghtsrashen (Armenian: Քաղցրաշեն) is a village in the Ararat Province, located 50 km from Yerevan (a one-hour drive). It has an estimated population of 3,200 residents living in 640 households, with agriculture and farming as the primary sources of livelihood. The village has one school, serving 430 students from grades 1-12, and a kindergarten that is home to 140 children.

In 2021, a request for new beds, bedding, and furniture for two classrooms was submitted to FCN, and the project was completed in 2022. Additionally, a playground was installed to provide children with a safe and enjoyable space.
